Hallam to go to the High Court AND A New Planning Application is Submitted

High CourtWe have been advised by Preston City Council Planning Department that Hallam Land Management have submitted a claim to the High Court against the Planning Inspectorate's decision on their appeal earlier this year. In this highly unusual move they are claiming that the Inspector made legal errors such as to give cause for the decision to be quashed and the appeal remitted for redetermination.

It is our understanding that the case should come to the High Court by early-mid June and it is usual for the case to be decided on the day.

Hallam have now also submiteed a new planning application for a reduced scheme of up to 100 houses. details of which can be viewed on PCC's website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As it is a new application, letters submitted previously will not be taken into consideration. Hence - new letters of objection (or support) are required.
