The Grimsargh Wetlands Trust have applied to close the public footpath across the site, in order to enable the works to be carried out to improve the footpath across the causeway - including giving provision for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
The Closure Order is operative from 17th September for a period of 6 months. However, our understanding is this is a precautionary measure to prevent any chance of having to apply for a second closure and the works should take a fraction of that time.
