The Appeal by Wain Homes against Preston City Council’s refusal of their planning permission is scheduled to take place at the Town Hall, starting at 10am on Wednesday 23th April. It is expected that the Appeal will last 2-3 days. You can show your opposition to the development by attending the sessions.
The Appeal is to be handled via the Public Enquiry process (rather than informal Hearing). Hence the proceedings will be relatively formal.
Grimsargh Parish Council, together with a team of residents are currently working on the wording of our statement to the Appeal – which will be making clear our opposition to the proposals and our belief that it is against local planning policy and the interests of the Village.
It is clear from the documents now on Preston City Council’s website, that they are preparing a robust defence of their original decision to refuse planning permission.
