Lindsay Philipson

Lindsay Philippson I moved into the village with my husband in January 2014, but have lived in Preston since the age of seven, attending Moor Nook primary school and The Park School. Our daughter and son in law have lived in the village since 2004 and we have granddaughters at St Michaels CE school and pre-school. Our son and his family also moved here in April 2013 and his younger son attends Grimsargh Toddlers.

I retired from a career with Lancashire County Council in August 2012; I have extensive experience in the education service and working with schools and for 20 years I managed several functions including admissions to primary and secondary schools and school transport right across the area.

I now have a small jewellery design business and was a founder member of Design Platform, a creative collective based at Longridge Station Heritage Centre. I am passionate about shopping small and local and will do my very best to support the village.
