A very Hoopy Father’s Day! Sunday 17th June
The sun shone upon the “Family Picnic on the Village Green” event which took place on Father’s Day.
Villagers were invited to bring their picnics and their Dads for an afternoon of fun on our lovely village green. And they were not disappointed.
As well as the hula hooping activity provided by our very own “Leaping Liz”, there was a visit from Posts Ice-cream van and a 9-hole “Frisbee Golf” activity sponsored by Physikidz, which made the most of the open space the green has to offer.
People broke away from the picnic at 1pm to go and watch the unveiling of the Children's Mosaic.
A delightful afternoon was had by all who attended - sitting, chatting, playing games - just good, honest fun!
